I have a 2015 Nissan Altima purchased new in February 2016. Yesterday I noticed a bubble in the front driver side tire. I took the car to NISSAN this morning and they refused to guarantee the tire, and I had to purchase a new tire for $178.00 plus weight, balancing, labor etc. I only have 4900 miles on the tire, NISSAN told me to take the tire back to Continental. I think Continental should stand behind their product. Please advise me what I... Read more

Leased my Mercedes E350 less than 2 months ago. With under 2000 miles on the car, not only one but 2 tires with bubbles, one blew out, within 4 days!! First, just getting on the highway I get a blowout on one tire. Mercedes doesn't stand behind this so I pay $328.00 to replace it. 4 days later I see a bubble on another tire! Afraid to drive the car, at this point I call road service to change it. I then contact Mercedes, explain all of this,... Read more

These tires are highly susceptible to blow outs...I had one go down at 5,200 miles one month ago - did not hit anything - turned out to be a sidewall pinhole that was not repairable - had to replace tire. Buick dealer salesperson had same car / tires with 31,000 miles on it - said he'd replaced three of these tires thus far, and that Continental was absolutely no help whatsoever - he was not happy and neither am I. On way home from work today... Read more

BEST tires I have ever purchased. The state in which I live, Virginia, gets more and more wet weather as the years go by, so after researching tires and I saw a lot of great remarks/write-ups about the Continental TrueContact tires, so I ordered some. My wife and I are now life loyal patrons for as long as the TrueContacts are made or something very similar. After driving on these tires through several rainstorms, they are undoubtedly the... I have a 2015 Mercedes Benz C300 4matic and im at 14,200 and just had suspension work done on the front half axle shafts were replaced on both sides and when i picked the car up i was told I need 2 front new tire and an alignment. Why is it that my rear tires are in excelent cond and my front ones are already at 3mm? Faulty tires or the front axle half shafts caused it to wear prematurely. 3 mechanics tell me both surprisingly. Does anyone have... Read more

What is it with these Continental tires? I have replaced 6 tires because of bubbles and blow outs in 2 years. I'll never buy a Continental again. Worst tire ever. The Volkswagen service guys tell me confidentially that they know the tire is prone to bubbles. I have had more blowouts in two years of driving than in the last 20 years. The tire I need is a low profile tire and the sidewall is only about 5 inches wide. I took my vehicle to a local... Read more

Our ford one ton is only a month old! The sidewall completely blew out, the tire looked like it had exploded. Continental and Ford are taking absolutely no responsibility. Continental is putting lives at risk! Continental admitted over the phone that it was a zipper problem and although they currently have 2 recalls due to the same issues, they refuse to acknowledge that this is a manufacturer's defect and are willing to endanger the lives of... I have a 2013 focus, with 17000 miles. I have had ro replace 3 of the 4 tires, ford replaced free last one, but only after tire repair shop said it was a defective tire. Shame on ford for not standing up for their customers. Had 2 blowouts and 1 split on inside. Add comment

Continental Tires - Worst Tire Manufacturer that I have ever come into contact with
1 of 3

My wife purchased a 2012 Buick Verano which came with what looked like a new set of Continental ContiProContact tires sized 235/45/R18. In less than one week as I cleaned up the car for the first time and was putting tire shine on the tires I noticed that the front and rear passenger tires had began to separate and had a noticeable gash right above the rim. I inspected all 4 and noticed that the drivers side tire was beginning to have the same... Read more
